One of the main challenges of recruitment from the MENA region is gender equality. Within those nations, 81.9% of all employed people in 2020 were men, compared to a 67.2% gender ratio at a global scale. Countries in conflict and in transition generally have smaller employment growth than the rest in the MENA region. International organizations have the opportunity to fight for gender balance and diversify their personel. Source

Impactpool's annual 6-hour virtual career event 10:00-16:00 CEST (save to your calendar) supports impactful international organizations in diversifying their recruitment efforts as they seek to engage with qualified nationals from the Middle East and North Africa.
Who should attend?
Highly qualified and purpose-driven nationals from North Africa and the Middle East who are pursuing a career with a positive impact. Currently working or seeking work in multilateral, bilateral, NGOs and other leading international development organizations
Essential criteria to join this career fair:
4+ years of relevant international work experience
A postgraduate degree
Language skills with fluency in English
You are a national from a country within the MENA region (the Middle East & North Africa).
