You will be responsible for preparing, executing, managing, and implementing a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to support the development and formulation of the adolescent development and participation programmes/projects within the Country Programme.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have the below requirement:

Education:

  • A university degree in one of the following fields is required: anthropology, psychology, sociology, education, or another relevant technical field.

Experience:

  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in social development planning and management in adolescent development related areas is required.
  • Experience in programmes focusing on adolescents and youth skilling and development to promote their socio-economic empowerment is considered as an advantage.
  • Experience in developing work plans, budget management, and M&E of adolescent and youth skilling and development programmes is considered as an asset.
  • Experience working in a developing country is considered as an asset.
  • Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.

Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
