Mission and objectives

The Regional Bureau for Arab States (RBAS) based in New York serves as the headquarters for UNDP regional programmes and country offices in 17 Arab countries, with the 18th located in the occupied Palestinian territory. The Bureau is headed by Abdallah EL Dardary, UNDP Assistant Administrator and Director of the UNDP Regional Bureau for Arab States.

Context

As part of the soft launching of the UNDP NextGenYouth platform, the UNDP Youth regional team would like to promote and disseminate the platform among various youth networks across the Arab region. To accomplish this, we are seeking online volunteers to help disseminate our NextGenYouth platform. Selected online volunteers will assist us in disseminating the brochure/flyer but also the features of the platform over social media networks and through identified networks of youth and youth serving organizations.

Task description

We are looking for 22 Online Volunteers across the Arab region who under the guidance of the Regional Recruiter Associate to support us in Disseminating the platform to attract more users to visit and create accounts. Each volunteer will do the following: Choose one Arab country Identify three key youth portals, fairs, or groups in the selected country. Disseminate platform on their social media accounts and the identified youth portals. Provide evidence of postings on the identified youth portals and social media.
