Mission and objectives

The United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office (RCO) supports the UN Resident Coordinator (RC) in Indonesia. As designated representative of the UN Secretary-General, RC leads and strategically positions the United Nations Country Team (UNCT) in support of national priorities, development strategies, and plans. RCO coordinates activities related to common programming of UN in Indonesia. The support includes strategic planning, programme and operations management, policy guidance, data management and results reporting as well as knowledge management, advocacy, and communications – all seeking to enhance UN coherence and improve overall programme impact to better achieve development results. Under the leadership of the RC, the RCO is also implementing a wide range of initiatives to make the Leaving No-One Behind (LNOB) concept concrete and tangible, especially in the areas of youth, gender and disability inclusion. Context

A Joint Programme is a set of activities contained in a joint workplan and related common budgetary framework, involving two or more UN agencies in Indonesia, intended to achieve results aligned with national priorities as reflected in the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework 2021 – 2025 https://indonesia.un.org/en/93067-united-nations-sustainable-development-cooperation-framework-unsdcf-2021-2025 To that end, we are seeking the support from Online Volunteers to collaborate jointly in designing the Joint-Programme communication materials for further publication and dissemination.

Task description

RCO UN in Indonesia is looking for an online volunteer to assist with the graphic design of the RCO Joint-Programmes’ communication materials for their publication and distribution, following the corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the online volunteer in advance. Specifically, the Online Volunteers will: 1. Need to be familiar with Canva. The assignment will be do in Canva. 2. Design factsheet in Canva Premium. Access to Canva Premium will be provided by UNRCO 3. The factsheet will be a two-pager.
