Mission and objectives

Our mission is to unlock the promise of tech for social good by lifting the burden of maintenance and scaling off the shoulders of the makers. We select and support those digital tools that can solve critical global problems and we integrate them to form the Civic Infrastructure needed around the world.

Context

Every day, a large number of Ukrainians face a lot of stress in the conditions of the war. The number of people experiencing symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder is constantly growing. We want as many Ukrainians as possible to learn about the PTSD Help application we developed in cooperation with the US Department of Veterans Affairs - National Center for PTSD the main goal of which is to reduce anxiety level and support mental health.

Task description

Together with the US Department of Veterans Affairs, we created PTSD Help, a mobile application for Ukraine that helps reduce stress and help find mental health specialists for consultation. We want to spread information about PTSD app among Ukrainian-speaking users in Moldova. For this we need the help of volunteers. Volunteers will extend their research to existing mobile apps, chatbots or other channels that help overcome PTSD symptoms. And also make a list of institutions, organizations and other structures that provide psychological assistance to victims of the ukrainian war in Moldova, - military personnel, veterans, their families and loved ones. The research results will be used to disseminate information and promote PTSD Help app in Moldova. Volunteers will not be asked to provide any mental health-related treatment or counseling, but will only be tasked with researching the topics listed.
