Overview of position |

In operation since 2006, today we are honoured to serve clients in 15 fragile and conflict-affected states assisting with disaster relief, peace building, humanitarian aid and development programmes through our specialised recruitment, HR management and operational services. |
Role objectives |
·In close coordination with K-JRC staff and Project team, the teaching facilitator (Teacher) develop and implement weekly/lesson plans. ·Develop appropriate learning materials as per the needs of children in conflict with the law - considering their level of education. ·Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning ·Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.) ·Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback ·Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom ·Monitor students’ behaviour and share feedbacks with PSS team, if needed. ·Coordinate with Technical Facilitator to adjust weekly lessons plans. ·Help students to acquire content knowledge based on their level of understanding the content. (Categorize children in different levels and organize classes accordingly) ·Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events ·Observe and understand students' behaviour and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc. ·Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc. ·Support the project team in organizing recreational events and gatherings of the children such as sport and other occasional events |

Key competencies |
·Proven experience as a teacher ·Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the KJRC school’s policies and procedures ·Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills ·Well-organized and committed ·Creative and energetic ·Strong moral values and discipline ·Knowledge of working with children in conflict with the law ·University Degree in a specialized subject |
