 DCAF’s Cybersecurity programme, implemented by the Europe and Central Asia Division, aims to support good governance in cybersecurity. The programme contributes to making cybersecurity responsive and effective by working with cybersecurity actors from the public and private sector on improving law and policies, stakeholder cooperation and the effective provision and oversight of cybersecurity. To this end, the programme provides advice and research, organises technical trainings and workshops and organises stakeholder exchanges.

 

The Cybersecurity programme is currently looking for a highly qualified and motivated individual for its Belgrade Office Team to be our next Admin and Finance Assistant – Cybersecurity Belgrade Office (100 %) 

  • Location: Belgrade, Serbia
  • Starting date: as soon as possible
  • Duration: until 31 March 2025

 

The role            

 The incumbent will work with the DCAF project team in the DCAF Belgrade Office and report directly to the head of the DCAF Belgrade Office.

 

Key areas of operation:

  • Support the Project in terms of office and project administration including financial management
  • Ensure the efficient functioning of the Belgrade Field Office HR / administrative / finance and logistics processes
  • Implement DCAF's finance procedures and standards
  • Manage and supervise all admin and finance tasks (booking, payments, reconciliation)
  • Ensure that financial reports are sent to HQ on monthly basis respecting the agreed deadlines
  • Ensure in collaboration with Budget Holder that expenses are booked and allocated to the corresponding project codes & budget lines
  • Oversee, maintain and improve field office filing and archiving system
  • Contribute to the logistical organization of project-related workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Provide administrative support when necessary

 

Your experience

  • Secondary education with relevant work experience
  • Bachelor´s degree will be given due consideration but is not a requirement
  • Prior experience in assisting project management including financial aspects, and the organisation of conferences, workshops and training activities
  • Excellent proficiency in English and Serbian/Bosnian/Montenegrin/Croatian, both written and spoken
  • Serbian citizenship or a valid work permit for Serbia at the time of application is a pre-requisite.
