Core areas of work at CWC:
⢠Development of activity based and arts integrated teaching & learning material for government school teachers.
⢠Development of experiential teacher training programs that will help teachers adopt experiential teaching methods in their classrooms.
⢠Work with various levels within the government schooling system to ensure that there is a systemic adoption of the idea of experiential teaching â learning methods
⢠Development of technology platforms specifically suited for helping rural government schools adopt experiential teaching learning methods.
Caring with Colour has so far been successful in implementing its programs in 5100+ schools across 3 educational districts in Karnataka. Our training programs have reached 8600+ teachers benefitting 160,000+ students. Our experiential teaching content has been approved by Karnatakaâs curriculum authority DSERT and our teacher training programs have been highly rated and well received by the teacher communities. As we move forward, we are looking to scale our work across multiple geographies helping teachers adopt the experiential teaching methods in their true spirit as propounded by NEP 2020.
Position: Manager / Sr. Manager / Director - Fundraising & Donor Engagement
Location: Indiranagar, Bangalore
Salary: In line with market trends; commensurate to professional experience & expertise Experience
Required: 8 years of full-time experience

Purpose:
The Sr. Manager/Head -Fundraising will serve as a key leadership team member, and an active participant in CWCâs strategic decisions. Will work closely with the COO, to engage deeply with various corporate houses, Philanthropists, foundations etc to build a strong fund-raising structure. Will be responsible in meeting the annual fund-raising goals, while growing and diversifying its funding base.
Key Responsibilities
1. Developing CWCâs long term fundraising strategy, annual funding plans and ensuring fundraising goals are met.
2. Diversify the funding base by adding new donors.
3. Developing and maintaining key relationships with existing and prospective funders to develop a healthy funding pipeline across donor groups including institutional philanthropy, CSR, etc.
4. Conceptualize and develop funding proposals and presentations for existing and potential new donors for program as well as new investment requirements
5. Ensure accurate, timely and complete donor reporting as well as discussion of the reports periodically with key donors.
6. Accompany donor teams on field visits both pre-funding as well as part of programme review meetings to the extent required; work with programme teams to address any issues identified during the visit.
7. Any other tasks as may be assigned by the reporting manager.
Reporting to - Chief Operating Officer
Qualifications:
1. 8+ years of full-time professional experience.
2. 5+ years in senior level fundraising / communication with CSR, institutional funders / account management experience in social sector.
3. Proven experience in developing and customizing fundraising strategies, meeting fundraising targets is a must.
4. Demonstrated experience in handling both institutional and retail funding options will be a plus.
5. Demonstrated passion and commitment to working in the social sector.
6. Strong verbal and written communication.
7. Outstanding relationship management skills
8. Strong existing relationships with major funders.
9. Well-rounded inter-personal skill set with the capacity to build strong senior level relationships and work effectively in non- hierarchical teams.
10. Individual performer and ability to multitask.
