Job Purpose

Pathfinder International India in collaboration with Indira IVF hospitals private limited has initiated preventive fertility healthcare awareness program ‘SwasthNeev’ to inculcate healthy behaviors and practices among the community and needy couples in six cities of India. The project is implemented in two phases with an aim to generate awareness around fertility health by addressing issues of infertility and appropriate lifestyle changes among married couples of 20-35 years of age group and in the community.

The City Project Coordinator will directly report to the Project Coordinator and provide assistance and mentoring to community counsellors and mid media activity, in their respective city. The coordinator will ensure timely completion of field activity and reporting as per project timelines

  1. Guidance to the counsellors for quality counselling and implementation of the project activities.
  2. Conduct trainings of counsellors.
  3. Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans of counsellors for counselling sessions. Achieving at least 10,000 counselling sessions per city annually in 10 months. 
  4. Assisting senior team for development of counselling modules, Digital IPC tools.
  5. Planning and conducting community mobilization and mass media campaigns.
  6. Monitoring and supervision 10 district counsellors. Calculation and verification of monthly incentives of counsellors. 
  7. Coordination with key stakeholders such as IVF centers, govt departments, community institutions. Regular updating with district health department about the project progress.
  8. Ensuring field-level referral networks established and follow up of clients through counsellors.

  • Regular and timely entry of data collected through Counselling and group sessions on excel.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and generate timely reports on project progress, milestones achieved, and any issues or challenges encountered.s

  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.

  • Coordinate tasks and activities among Community Counsellors and other PI staff ensuring alignment with project objectives and deadlines.

  • Efficiently plan project timelines, milestones, and resources allocation to ensure timely completion of tasks.

RequiredEducation,TrainingandExperience:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in any field is required, with a preference for candidates holding degrees in Public Health, Social Work, Development Studies, or humanities/social sciences.
  • Candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience are preferred, especially those with a background in Reproductive and Sexual Health, Public Health, or Family Planning.
  • Experience of counselling, development of training modules, documentation, report writing, data analysis, and preparing case studies.
  • Experience of working with the district health system and government and non-government departments and private health care providers.
