Context

This task directly contributes to the organization's objectives of promoting global immunization efforts and raising awareness about the importance of vaccines in preventing diseases and improving public health outcomes. World Immunization Week serves as a critical advocacy platform to highlight the significance of immunization and to mobilize support for vaccination programs worldwide. The larger context of this volunteer contribution lies within the organization's ongoing efforts to advance global health priorities, particularly in the field of immunization and infectious disease prevention. Volunteers should familiarize themselves with the organization's mission, goals, and key messages related to immunization to effectively contribute to this task.

Task description

The volunteer will be tasked with designing a range of promotional materials to raise awareness about World Immunization Week, which is scheduled to take place from April 24th to April 30th. These materials will include posters, infographics, social media graphics, and potentially other visual assets as needed. The volunteer will need to ensure that the designs effectively convey key messages about the importance of immunization, recommended vaccination schedules, and other relevant information provided by the organization. Daily logistics will primarily involve communication and coordination via email and virtual meetings or calls with the assigned supervisor or contact person at the organization. Regular status updates will be required to track progress and ensure alignment with the organization's objectives for World Immunization Week. The volunteer may also collaborate with other online volunteers or organization staff as part of a broader team effort. Specific deadlines for deliverables will be communicated by the supervisor, with flexibility for adjustments based on project needs.
