We are seeking assistance to design the layout for the OCHA Global Communications and Advocacy Strategy 2024-2026. This crucial document will guide OCHA's communication efforts to enhance global humanitarian responses. The layout must be clear, engaging, and align with OCHA’s branding guidelines. A skilled Online Volunteer is needed to use Adobe InDesign for this task, and a portfolio demonstrating previous work and design capabilities is mandatory. Task description

We are seeking one Online Volunteer to assist in designing the layout of a communications plan using Adobe InDesign. This project is crucial for effectively presenting our strategic communication efforts and ensuring that the information is accessible and engaging. The specific tasks for the Online Volunteer will include: Gathering necessary content and branding guidelines to understand the scope and style of the communications plan; Creating an initial layout design in Adobe InDesign, discussing it with the focal point or communications team for initial feedback; Refining and finalizing the layout based on the feedback and agreed specifications. Adherence to our corporate design guidelines is required, and these will be provided to the Online Volunteer beforehand. This volunteer opportunity is not only a chance to contribute to our organization’s communication strategy but also an opportunity to showcase your design skills within a professional setting. A portfolio presentation is mandatory for this support to demonstrate previous work and proficiency with Adobe InDesign. This will help ensure that the volunteer's design style aligns with our organizational needs.
