Context

The need for designing the agenda in Microsoft Word arises from the upcoming INSARAG Steering Group Meeting scheduled for May 7, 2024, in Geneva. This significant event will bring together international experts in search and rescue to discuss critical updates and governance issues. The agenda will serve as a crucial document, guiding the flow of the meeting and ensuring that all topics are addressed efficiently. We are seeking assistance from an Online Volunteer to design this agenda, ensuring it is clear, professional, and aligns with our corporate design guidelines. This support is essential for facilitating an effective and organized discussion during the event.

Task description

We are seeking one Online Volunteer to assist in designing an agenda for an event in Microsoft Word (3-4 pages), under the guidance of the designated supervisor or focal point and in close collaboration with our communications team. The specific tasks for the Online Volunteer will include: Gathering relevant information about the event, such as its purpose, target audience, and branding guidelines; Creating an initial draft of the agenda layout to discuss with the focal point or communications team; Refining and finalizing the agenda design according to the agreed specifications. The design and layout of the agenda should adhere to our corporate design guidelines, which will be provided to the Online Volunteer in advance. This volunteer opportunity will allow you to engage directly with our team at Design and Multimedia Unit and gain valuable experience in how effective design can enhance communication and event management.
