UNICEF seeks to hire an experienced, results oriented consultant to assist UNICEF Lesotho Country Office to design and develop four policy notes (approximately 10 pages each) that present clear analysis of the identified topics,highlight implications for social policy and child rights and provide practical recommendations for decision-makers.

Minimum requirements:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Social Sciences,humanities,communications, graphic design or any relevant field is required.*A first University Degree in a relevant field combined with 2 additional years of professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an Advanced University Degree.
Work Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in design and layout of policy documents is a must.
- At least 2 years working in the development sector.
- Experience with the UN is an added advantage.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English

Remarks:
Government employees who are considered for employment with UNICEF are normally required to resign from their government positions before taking up an assignment with UNICEF. UNICEF reserves the right to withdraw an offer of appointment, without compensation, if a visa or medical clearance is not obtained, or necessary inoculation requirements are not met, within a reasonable period for any reason.
