The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank whose mission is financing Infrastructure for Tomorrow in Asia and beyond—infrastructure with sustainability at its core. We began operations in Beijing in 2016 and have since grown to 111 approved members worldwide. We are capitalized at USD100 billion and AAA-rated by the major international credit rating agencies. Collaborating with partners, AIIB meets clients’ needs by unlocking new capital and investing in infrastructure that is green, technology-enabled, and promotes regional connectivity.
The Public Program of the Annual Meeting comprises a series of public engagement sessions aligned with AIIB’s core business objectives and strategic priorities. Representing the largest segment of the Annual Meeting agenda, the Public Program includes 20 to 30 sessions designed to foster dialogue, share knowledge, and enhance visibility of the Bank’s work.
- The Public Program currently features two primary formats:
AIIB Seminars: High-level policy dialogues that address pressing regional challenges and showcase best practices. These sessions facilitate substantive exchanges among AIIB, its shareholders, leading experts, and business partners.
AIIB Marketplace: A platform dedicated to promoting AIIB’s portfolio of projects, initiatives, and products. It aims to raise public awareness of the Bank’s contributions to regional and global infrastructure development while enabling networking and collaboration among stakeholders.
