Collaborating with partners, AIIB meets clients’ needs by unlocking new capital and investing in infrastructure that is green, technology-enabled, and promotes regional connectivity.

The Internal Audit Office (IAO) is launching a pilot initiative to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can transform internal audit practices at AIIB. Recognizing the growing importance of data-driven insights in governance and assurance, this project focuses on developing a practical proof-of-concept that demonstrates AI’s role in risk analysis and audit engagement. By leveraging advanced technologies such as large language models (LLMs), machine learning, and analytics pipelines, the initiative seeks to enhance risk identification, audit efficiency, and insight generation. Through this project-based Corporate Internship, IAO is fostering collaboration and innovation, positioning AIIB at the forefront of modern audit practices.
