The Information Technology Department (ITD) is looking for a Digital Program Associate – Data Analysis, who will contribute to the design and development of AIIB's data ecosystem by providing value-added data analysis to harness data insights. The Digital Program Associate – Data Analysis will be responsible for gathering, interpreting, and analyzing data requirements using techniques from various disciplines, including business analysis, data analysis, computer programming, mathematics, and statistics. The role also entails communicating with the technical team and business counterparties.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business stakeholders, understand business data processes, gather and streamline data requirements, and maintain relevant documentation.
- Perform domain-specific data analysis, research and retain data knowledge from Project and Loan business system, translate data requirements to technical specifications, and collaborate with the project manager and implementation team to support the design and delivery of solutions that meet business requirements, including but not limited to data solutions, business intelligence solutions, and self-service solutions.
- Lead Project and Loan data-solution testing, assist with troubleshooting, guide users with new data products and services, and facilitate user training and focus group discussions.
- Perform root cause analysis on Project and Loan data-quality issues and reporting processes in support of data solution operations.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities, and proactively identify new opportunities and potential gaps for solution optimization.
- Support data culture awareness training and sharing.
Requirements:
- More than five years of working experience as a data associate and/or business analyst or relevant experience in business analysis, data analysis, financial analysis, statistics, and research methods.
- Master’s degree from a reputable university in a relevant field, such as business analysis, data analysis, computer science, information management, or financial engineering, or equivalent experience. In lieu of a master's degree, a bachelor’s degree in these fields from a reputable university, along with relevant certifications and experience.
- Familiarity with machine-learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn). Experience in designing machine-learning and artificial-intelligence applications to effectively optimize business processes and support better decision-making would be an advantage.
- Strong technical capability in MS SQL and familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools, such as PowerBI and Python.
- Working knowledge in Project and Loan products is a must. Lending, portfolio management, and cooperative reporting is a plus.
- A team player with the ability to develop positive and collaborative relationships with business partners and communicate effectively with both business and technology data stakeholders.
- Self motivated, adaptive to evolving business models, and able to drive results and support business technical requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in managing deliverables in agile environments would be an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with various audiences at different levels across the organization. Demonstrated technical documentation skills.
- Fluent in written and oral English.
