The Portfolio Management Department (PMD) is responsible for monitoring the implementation of AIIB-funded projects. PMD monitors the entire Investment Operations portfolio and provides portfolio reports and data analytics; manages the nonsovereign-backed financing (NSBF) assets that have been transferred to PMD;  heads the valuation function for Investment Operations products; leads the design and implementation of IT systems for Investment Operations; provides Secretariat services to the Investment Committee; and coordinates Investment Operations-related knowledge and learning management. 


The main responsibility of the Portfolio Analyst - Digitalization is to assist the head of the PMD Portfolio and Data team and other team members in the preparation, implementation, maintenance and administration of IO Core systems for investment operations, conducting data management related tasks.

Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build automated workflow to improve the operational efficiency of Portfolio and Data team.
  • Support the operation, testing, administration and updating of the Investment Management Information System (IMIS) and Client Relation Management System (CRM).
  • Work with various business departments and IT Department on requirement gathering and demand prioritization and system/process alignment.
  • Support the data management process for IO related procedures and systems.
  • Enforce data quality assurance procedures for IO related systems and reports with support from IT Department.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the head of Portfolio and Data team and other team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/master’s degree in computer engineering, information system management, finance, business administration, or similar field relevant to AIIB’s operations.
  • Experience in using Power Automate, Dynamic 365, SharePoint and Power BI.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English with demonstrated ability to think strategically and synthesize complex issues (translated into effective oral and written briefs) and ability to comprehend complex project contracts.
  • Ability to collaborate with other team members and contribute productively to the team's work and output, demonstrating respect for different points of view.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in business analysis, system management, data quality.
  • Sound knowledge of business processes and data requirements of financial institutions would be an advantage.
  • Some relevant experience with Python and modern AI/ML tools, including LLM APIs or open-source models would be advantage.
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with various stakeholders and effectively engage stakeholders in system development.
