Individual support to the most vulnerable children using a case management approach and preventing and responding to child separation are at the heart of UNICEF Child Protection in Humanitarian Action mandate as per the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), the organization’s Core Commitments for Children (CCCs)1, the Strategic Plan for 2025-20302, and the new Child Protection Strategy for 2022-20303. While closely collaborating, the interagency CPIMS+ Steering Committee and the Alliance for CPHA CMTF maintain distinct governance structures.
