The purpose of the assignment is to provide strategic guidance, technical leadership and coordinate the development of a high quality, evidence-based, and compliant GC8 HIV Grant funding request ensuring alignment of the funding request with national strategic plans and epidemiological priorities.

- Minimum requirements:
- Education: Master`s university degree in Healthcare (Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, or other Biomedical Sciences) / Public Health, health economics / Social Science / Global Health, international development
- Work Experience:
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in public health programming in low- or middle income countries.
- Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge and practical experience with Global Fund policies, procedures, and grant lifecycle, specifically including experience developing successful funding requests for Grant Cycle 6 (GC6), GC7, and a thorough understanding of GC8 requirements
- Skills: Strong technical knowledge of at least two of the following areas: HIV, TB, malaria, and/or Health Systems Strengthening (RSSH)
- Language Requirements: Excellent facilitation, communication (English and Kiswahili), and writing skills
