About the Young Professionals Program
CABEI’s Young Professionals Program is a highly selective two-year program designed for exceptional early-career professionals seeking to accelerate their careers in development banking and regional impact.
The program offers hands-on experience in strategic and high-impact initiatives within the leading Multilateral Development Bank in the region, providing participants with exposure to complex projects, cross-functional collaboration, and professional growth opportunities in an international environment.
We are looking for motivated professionals under 32 years of age at the time of joining the program, with outstanding academic backgrounds, strong analytical skills, leadership potential, fluency in English, and a minimum of a Master’s degree from a recognized university.
Position Overview
The Private Sector and Financial Institutions Department (SEPRIF) is seeking a Young Professional to support activities related to project finance structuring, portfolio monitoring, and financial intermediation initiatives across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Support financial structuring and modeling of projects.
- Assist in project finance transactions and internal coordination processes.
- Prepare presentations, reports, technical notes, and project documentation.
- Support initiatives related to financial institutions and private sector operations.
- Participate in operational and administrative activities of the department.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Maximum age of 32 years at the time of joining the program.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in banking, corporate finance, project finance, or development finance.
- Strong financial analysis and advanced financial modeling skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required.
