SUMMARY OF THE ASSIGNED DUTIES,

INCLUDING GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE POST

The SaaS Technical Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day technical administration and management of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions provided to the Organization.

He/she is a member of the Transition & Release Management Branch and participates to the general activities of the team with a special focus on his/her technical domain

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ACTIVITIES

DUTY 1: Solution implementation

  • The incumbent manages the integration of Saas or workflow solutions in the information System of the Organization.
  • He/she participates to the SaaS solution selection and perform required risk assessment.
  • He/she manages the design, development, implementation, and configuration of new workflows.
  • He/she integrates the solution in our information system through API management and dataflow implementation.
  • He/she collaborates in his/her duties with project managers, business analysts, data managers and infrastructure specialists to select, implement, and maintain SaaS solutions.

DUTY 2: Solution administration

  • The incumbent is the technical administrator of the SaaS (Cloud based Software as a Service) solutions that Information Systems & Technology Directorate (IS) is providing to the Organization.
  • He/she is responsible for the 3rd level support and the coordination with any external or internal 3rd level support.
  • He/she coordinates the application maintenance as well as the systems upgrades.
  • He/she establishes and maintains a catalog of the SaaS solution used by the Organization.
  • He/she participates in the periodic review of SaaS solution with internal compliance units.

DUTY 3: Operation support

  • He/she participates with the other Transition and Release Analysts in the global operation support activities.
  • He/she defines and implements the monitoring of the SaaS solution, manages the incidents related to these solutions, participates in incident and KPI reviews.
  • He/she develops and maintains automated tests to monitor the availability and security of the service.
  • Perform any other duties as required by the supervisor. 

QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:

  • Three-to-four years' education at a university or other specialized higher education establishment in IT or computer sciences.
  • ITIL certification.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • At least 4 years' experience troubleshooting SaaS services.
  • Or at least 2 years of experience supporting SaaS solutions in Cloud services like Azure or AWS.
  • Or at least 2 years' experience designing, installing, and configuring, SaaS solutions.
  • A significant experience in IT operation/production.
  • A relevant experience in workflow design, implementation, and management.
  • An experience in the following solutions will be highly regarded: Boomi, Sharepoint, TalentSoft, Service Now, Time Control, and Notilus.
  • Experience in managing API through a programing language will be appreciated.

LANGUAGES:

  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Fluency in French would be desirable.
  • Working knowledge in any of the other official language of the Organization (Spanish or Arabic) would be an asset.
