UNICEF Office of Strategy and Evidence – Innocenti (OSE) works to provide evidence to guide UNICEF to deliver results for children. OSE is at the heart of UNICEF’s evidence ecosystem, including official statistics for children, high-quality research, foresight and monitoring. By combining statistics and data with qualitative research, children’s voices and mixed-methods research, OSE adds depth and context to our knowledge of children’s lives.

OSE’s work is supported by a diverse partner base including governments, foundations, philanthropists and corporate partners. The Partnerships and Convening Unit leads fundraising, donor engagement, proposal development, donor reporting, donor intelligence, and partnership stewardship. Given OSE’s ambitious fundraising target for the current strategic plan period (2026-29) the office requires increased capacity for a period of twelve months.

Under the guidance and Chief of Partnerships this consultancy will strengthen OSE’s prospecting, proposal development, reporting, quality assurance and pipeline funding monitoring work through technical and operational support for the cultivation and management of partnerships across public and private income channels.

The role will work closely with units and sections across OSE to strengthen donor engagement, enhance resource mobilization efforts, and promote effective, coordinated partnerships that support the division’s priorities outlined in the current Strategic Plan (2026-29).
