How can you make a difference?  

To provide event management and programme monitoring support for programmes 1) Empowered and Equal Opportunities for Girls through Education in Southeast Asia; 2) Hidden in Plain Sight: Ending Child Early and Forced Marriage in Southeast Asia; 3) Breaking the Silence: Increasing Accountability on Addressing Female Genital Mutilation in Southeast Asia; and 4) Gender Responsive Social Protection and relevant travel admin support.

Event management support for all upcoming knowledge products and events planned by the relevant programmes throughout the contract period, including monitoring of the financial status of the programmes through liaising with budget and programme focal points. The event management includes arranging venue, caterers, participant travel and other team-related event management tasks. This support also includes preparing relevant administrative and programmatic documents through liaising with partners and consultants, and supporting the Climate, Education and CP Programme Associate with invoice submission, and other programme implementation support.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have… 

Minimum requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Social Science, Political Science, Business Administration and any other relevant fields.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in administrative area
  • Experience of working with UN Agencies for a similar role; previous working experience with UNICEF is an asset
  • Proven experience of organizing large-scale multi-country events hosted in Thailand
  • Excellent English and Thai communication skills
