About the Young Professionals Program
CABEI’s Young Professionals Program is a highly selective two-year program designed for exceptional early-career professionals seeking to accelerate their careers in development banking and regional impact.
The program offers hands-on experience in strategic and high-impact initiatives within the leading Multilateral Development Bank in the region, providing participants with exposure to complex projects, cross-functional collaboration, and professional growth opportunities in an international environment.
We are looking for motivated professionals under 32 years of age at the time of joining the program, with outstanding academic backgrounds, strong analytical skills, leadership potential, fluency in English, and a minimum of a Master’s degree from a recognized university.
Position Overview
Support the Bank's information security operations by monitoring security platforms, analyzing security events and incidents, managing vulnerabilities, and contributing to the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controls and solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor security platforms, including Adobe Sign, Microsoft Security Center, Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, Trellix SIEM, Microsoft Information Protection (AIP), Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), antivirus solutions, and other security technologies used across the Bank's network and Microsoft 365 cloud environment.
- Receive, analyze, and monitor security events, alerts, threats, and incidents reported by the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Support the identification, tracking, remediation, and closure of information security vulnerabilities and security gaps identified through SOC activities and assessments.
- Review daily monitoring reports related to security events, phishing and brand protection activities, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Assist Information Security Supervisors in the implementation of cybersecurity projects and security technology initiatives.
- Support access management processes, including user provisioning, role administration, and permissions management across digital platforms, low-code solutions, and the Digital Services Portal.
- Participate in the review and validation of production deployments, maintenance activities, and emergency change regularizations affecting the Bank's applications and technology platforms.
- Support the renewal and lifecycle management of cybersecurity tools, licenses, and support services.
- Respond to information security incidents and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
- Professional cybersecurity or technology certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+, CEH, Microsoft Security Certifications, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and security controls for cloud environments.
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 security solutions and cloud-based security monitoring platforms.
Experience:
- Hands-on knowledge of Windows, Linux, and UNIX operating systems at an administrator level.
- Knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server database environments.
- Understanding of application security principles and secure system administration.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001 information security standards and controls.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking stack, communication protocols (RPC, TCP, UDP), and security protocols such as IPSec.
- Experience with security technologies including vulnerability scanners, firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and antivirus solutions.
