POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Lead CABEI's institutional representation in the country, promoting economic integration and sustainable development through the direction and management of CABEI's portfolio of operations for the public and private sectors, seeking an efficient response to the country's needs in application of CABEI's strategy and regulations. This includes the leadership of the planning, identification, formulation, structuring, administration and other processes of the project cycle associated with CABEI's operations in the country, as well as the administration of the resources assigned to the Country Management. This position is responsible for leading relationships with key actors from the public and private sectors and multilateral organizations in the country.
GENERAL REQUIREMENT: To reside in the Republic of Honduras.
Bachelor's or Engineering with a Master's degree or equivalent or a Bachelor's degree or Engineering with at least two years of additional experience to that required by the position.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BY THE JOB:
- Regional and international financial institutions.
- Multilateral Development Bank.
- Structuring and financing of development projects for the public and private sectors.
- Portfolio management of public and private projects.
- Establishment of relationships and management of clients from the public and private sector, international organizations and financing counterparties, with the aim of proposing, negotiating and managing investment operations.
- Coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum professional experience: 11 years.
FUNCTIONS:
- Exercise CABEI's institutional representation and manage strategic relations, acting as a liaison between CABEI and the public and private sectors in the country, strengthening ties with other multilateral institutions, local banks, cooperation agencies and other key actors in order to identify and coordinate joint initiatives.
- Lead the promotion, identification, structuring and negotiation of new operations for CABEI in the country, both in the public and private sectors.
- Manage CABEI's portfolio of operations in the country for the public and private sectors through all processes of the institution's project cycle.
- Lead CABEI's strategic and operational planning in the country, including new approvals and disbursements, in accordance with institutional guidelines and in response to the country's needs.
- To administer and control the efficient use of the resources of the Country Management in order to achieve greater productivity, as well as to manage human resources, with the aim of strengthening and improving their performance.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of the financial sector and multilateral development banking.
- Banking products and services for the financing of public and private development projects and programs.
- Financing mechanisms with development banks, cooperation agencies and commercial banks.
- Knowledge in structuring and management of projects and portfolios.
