Job organizational context:
UNICEF Bosnia and Herzegovina, in partnership with UNDP, UNFPA and ILO, is implementing the three-year EU-funded EU4People - Social Protection Programme, supporting modernization of the social protection system through stronger institutions, integrated and community-based services, improved quality assurance, digitalization and strengthened evidence-based planning. The Action is implemented through a multi-agency arrangement under UNICEF's leadership and involves government institutions at different levels, local authorities, Centres for Social Work, implementing partners, service providers and other stakeholders across Bosnia and Herzegovina. As lead agency and Administrative Agent, UNICEF is responsible for overall programme coordination, strategic planning, results oversight, consolidated reporting and support to the Programme Steering Committee and Joint UN Programme Team.
Join our team as the EU4People Programme Officer (Joint Programme Coordination, Monitoring and Evidence) and contribute to the effective implementation of a complex multi-agency programme advancing social protection in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Under the guidance of the Social Policy Officer, you will support the coherent functioning of the EU4People joint programme by coordinating inter-agency processes, consolidating programme monitoring and results information, supporting donor reporting and programme reviews, and organizing and synthesizing evidence generated across programme locations and technical workstreams. You will help ensure that reliable and timely information is available for management decision-making, programme adaptation, learning and policy dialogue.
Key function, accountabilities and related duties/tasks:
- Joint Programme Coordination: supporting governance, inter-agency coordination and systematic follow-up on programme decisions and milestones.
- Consolidated Programme Monitoring and Reporting: tracking programme-level results, consolidating inputs and supporting reporting, reviews and evaluation processes.
- Evidence Coordination, Data Management and Analytical Synthesis: organizing, validating and synthesizing programme evidence and data under appropriate technical guidance.
- Knowledge Management and Programme Learning: capturing and sharing programme knowledge, lessons and evidence to support learning and continuous programme improvement.

Minimum requirements
- Education: Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Social Science, Economics, Statistics, Public Administration, Social Services, International Development, Development Studies, and any other related fields.
- Work Experience: At least one (1) year of relevant professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Programme Management, Communications, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research and Planning, Programme Coordination, Interagency Coordination, Donor Reporting, Data Management, Evidence Synthesis, Knowledge Management, Social Protection, Governance Support, or other closely related fields.
- Skills: Results-Based Management (RBM), Programme Monitoring & Reporting, Multi-Partner Coordination, Data Analysis & Evidence Generation, knowledge of EU-Funded Programme Compliance UN/UNICEF Programme Coordination & Systems are required.
