The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization with 60 years of experience in helping to create a safer and more dignified life for refugees and internally displaced people. NRC advocates for the rights of displaced populations and offers assistance within the shelter, education, emergency food security, legal assistance, and water,sanitation and hygiene sectors.

The Norwegian Refugee Council has approximately 5000 committed and competent employees involved in projects across four continents. In addition, NRC runs one of the world’s largest standby rosters -NORCAP, with 650 professionals, ready to be deployed on 72 hours notice when a crisis occurs

The HR coordinator is part of the global HR team in Oslo and is the first support to NRC’s country programmes on contractual issues related to international staff

Job description

  • Responsible to issue contracts for international staff, welcome emails, and registration of all relevant documents of international staff
  • Focal point on Agresso for HR Global
  • Follow up inividual insurance cases and be the adminitrative focal point for external partners on insurance, medical provisers and pension
  • Conduct and analyse global HR-statistic to management on requests
  • Contribute to NRC’s responsibility to secure duty of care to all staff
  • Compliance and adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures
  • Take part in the project group for NRC’s assessment on a new HRMS
  • Take part in securing NRC’s duty of care responsibility

Qualifications

  • Professional knowledge of personell administration
  • Minimum 1 years of relevant experience
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Very good knowledge in using HRMS
  • Good knowledge of Agresso an advantage
  • Knowledge of NRC an advantage
