Job description

  • In close collaboration with the E/S/W project manager, expand, develop, coordinate and manage NRC’s shelter projects in North regain.
  • Prepare/develop narrative and budgets for proposals in conjunction with Finance and Administration manger and logistic focal points.
  • Report monthly on all NRC shelter/WASH activities to North E/S/W PM.
  • implementation of technical activities of shelter/WASH projects.
  • Tracking of financial expenditures.
  • Responsible for assessment, project planning, implementation and monitoring of shelter projects in North region
  • Prepare shelter technical documents (design and BoQ) and supervision tools.
  • Provide specific technical support and capacity building towards project staffs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a university degree in Civil/Construction Engineering.
  • Previous relevant work experience, preferably with NGOs/UN agencies.
  • Knowledge of international standards code for building material and testing.
  • Computer literacy including MS Office + Auto CAD.
  • Fluency in English and Dari and Pashtu.
  • previous experience managing teams.
