We are looking for a highly qualified who would like to gain experience with the logitics department. 

 
Who are we? 
DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan. 
DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.

About the job 
Supporting the logistics Department in sorting & organizing out assets and inventories in BEIRUT &SAIDA. 
Duties and Responsibilities 
• Perform Assets/Inventory count for all items available in Beirut & Saida. 
• Updating the Assets registry file & ensuring all inventories are well registered by crosschecking the available assets by the current registered items. 
• Prepare Inventory list to each department  
• Prepare report on assets identified without asset codes / or not registered in the asset list and assign coding to them if needed. 
• Maintain a well updated personal assets issue forms.

 

About you 

To be successful in this role you must have Technical or Bachelor Degree

Required qualifications 
• Good Communication Skills  
• Fluency in Arabic and English Languages  
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel  
 
Desirable qualifications 
• Have NGO experience  
 
We offer 
DRC will offer the successful applicant a 2 weeks volunteering contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from May 2017 and be willing and able to work in Beirut Office. 
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment; please refer to www.drc.ngo under Vacancies. This position will be placed at level V, 450 USD per month ( to be divided per day if less than a month)
