Objectives:
Under the general guidance of the Reports Specialist, the intern supports the Country Office Reporting section's generation of donor reporting and funding proposals, with a focus on maintaining and updating related administrative systems and databases. Under the general guidance of the Budget Officer, the intern assists the PRC secretariat with new Programme Cooperation Agreement /Partnership Document (PCA/PD) submissions associated with UNICEF's Country Programme Document cycle 2017-2020 .

Background:
UNICEF Lebanon Country Office is seeking a qualified Reports and Partner Contracts Processing Intern to assist the Reporting Team and the PRC secretariat of the PRIME team. The post is important to the accomplishment of the LCO's significant volume of work in fund raising, donor reporting and partnership management. The support of this intern is necessary, as the entire team under the CO's current PBR has yet to be fully recruited.

Scope of work:
The Reports and Partner Contracts Processing Intern will:
1. Maintain logs for funding proposals and active grants
2. Maintain an electronic and, if necessary, paper-based filing system for funding proposals and donor reports .
3. Maintain up-to-date standard funding proposal and donor reporting templates for each programme section .
4. Assist in the development, editing and review of funding proposals and donor reports.
5. Upload donor report submissions to the financial management system.
6. Provide regular updates and information to programme sections regarding donor priorities/requirements and donor reporting schedules.
7. Assist the PRC secretariat in the processing of the PCAs/ PDs submissions/amendments, finalizations and filing.

Deliverables and Schedules:
Funding proposal, donor reporting and PCA/PD related products: Logs, e-filing system, templates:

- Provide support to the preparation of reports and proposals
- Update/maintain the Active Grants Tracker and the Proposals Log
- Proofread and/or translate document s upon request
- Assist with PCA/PD processing

Responsibilities:
- The intern is expected to work from the Beirut Office.
- No travel is anticipated as part of this assignment but in-country travel opportunities may arise.

Timing:
The duration of the assignment is 3 months part time(3 Days Per Week at 7 Hours/day), with a possibility of extension to 6 months
total.

Reporting Requirements:
The Reports and Partner Contracts Processing Intern will report to the Reports Specialist.

Profile Requirements:
- Pursuing a university degree in social sciences or any related field.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and computer skills {MS applications, especially Word, Publisher and Excel).
- Strong command of English.
- A high level of individual responsibility, commitment and initiative.
- Demonstrates openness in sharing information and keeping colleagues informed.

- Office based
- It is a part time assignment based on deliverables. Each monthly payment is subject to the receipt of:
• The intern will provide her/himself with a laptop and a mobile phone. UNICEF will provide a temporary desk and access to Internet and printing facilities at the UNICEF offices.
• Interns are not entitled to payment of overtime. All remuneration must be within the contract agreement.
• The  intern  is  expected  to  arrange  for  the  visa  requirements,  if and  when  required. UNICEF Lebanon may assist with the visa procedures, however all visa costs must be borne by the intern.
• The selected intern may not commence work or travel until the relevant individual contract has been duly approved, signed by both parties and returned to the HR section, together with the required documents and certifications
