Fund and Balance Sheet Accountant

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fund and Balance Sheet Accountant within our Group Finance department. This role will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely financial accounting, including the delivery of associated internal and external reporting and management information.

You will assist with the group level financial accounting for Plan International, including consolidations of the results and balance sheets of branch operations and subsidiaries and reconciling and analysing balance sheet accounts. Supporting the annual US government grants audit and country level or National Organisation grants audits

The Individual

You will need demonstrable knowledge of corporate accounting, preferably under IFRS and/or US GAAP or Charity funds accounting. As well as experience of financial reporting at a group level in an international organisation. ACA or equivalent professional qualification will be required.

Strong knowledge of and experience of applying financial accounting controls. Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, and the ability to take initiative and take ownership for completion of tasks.
