Our Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking a motivated professional to join our Syria Response Office’s dedicated Administration team. The ideal candidate will have Vocational degree or equivalent and a minimum 1 year of experience working in the administration field preferably in the humanitarian context.

Additional useful skills include: Strong organizational skills and teamwork skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, Good computer skills in Microsoft office (MS Excel, Word, and outlook)

Position Description:

The purpose of the Admin technical assistant position is to provide general administration support to ensure the smooth functioning of the NRC Syria Response office and accommodations in accordance with NRC’s administrative, finance and logistics policies and procedures and relevant donor guidelines. The Admin technical assistant is the first person whom NRC employees will approach for getting their administration issues resolved. He/She will liaise closely with HR, logistics, Finance and all departments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·       General office administration management and implementing office policies SOP.

·       Maintaining the office equipment and stationary, scheduling repairs through logistics department whenever necessary.

·       Support the line manager for the processing of work permits, visas and other related permits.

·       Assist in arranging for staff and visitors’ visas, flight bookings, transport and accommodations.

·       General follow up of the NRC office and houses/apartments and ensure that utility bills are paid.

·       Performs the full range of office management and administrative support functions including contract and lease agreements for renting apartments as well as office.

·       Arrange internal meetings and events, including the venue.

·       Supervise cleaning staff and prepare their schedule.

·       Maintaining of the guesthouses equipment, supplies, review of the comments and complains.

·       Any other general administrative assistance as directed by line management.
