Communication Consultant to Support Mobility Team (Based in New York HQ or work remotely)

Managed Rotation is a global exercise, launched to support staff to movement internationally. In this regard, the Mobility team is seeking to engage an Individual Consultant to support the implementation of a communications strategy for upcoming 2018 managed mobility exercise with a focus on enhancing communication with stake holders, improve branding of the exercise.

Purpose of the Consultancy:

Managed Rotation is a global exercise, launched to support staff to movement internationally.

In this regard, the Mobility team is seeking to engage an Individual Consultant to support the implementation of a communications strategy for upcoming 2018 managed mobility exercise with a focus on enhancing communication with stake holders, improve branding of the exercise.

Assignment Tasks and Expected Deliverables

• Work with Mobility project team to develop a detailed communication plan for the implementation of the 2018 Managed Mobility exercise inclusive of adapted media.
• Provide editorial inputs to redesign UNICEFs Managed Mobility SharePoint site to make it more interactive.
• Develop social media strategy including social media messages via Yammer and other effective tools.
• Developing branding material, including brochures, posters for the mobility exercise. 
• Develop messaging as required for various phases of the mobility project.
• Manage communications to staff on rotation regarding UNICEFs regular social media presence highlighting employment opportunities, such as Twitter/Yammer, Instagram, Facebook and supporting LinkedIn. 
• Assist Project Manager in any other assigned task as assigned including but not limited to partner with other stakeholders ongoing collaboration.

Qualifications of Successful Candidate

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in, communications, branding, marketing, public relations or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 - 5 years of relevant hands on work experience in communications, branding, marketing or related area.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and analytical skills.
• Strong experience in MS PowerPoint and other related products is mandatory.
• Experience with social media management is must.
• Experience with SharePoint 2010/2013/2016, & Online along with basic understanding of web development tools (highly desired).

Duration: 3 months

Location: New York or remote based
