CAMRIS seeks a Program Assistant/Logistician (Local Consultant) for the upcoming Mid-Term Performance Evaluation of the Strengthening Democratic Governance and Accountability (SDGAP) Activity for USAID/Sri Lanka. The purpose of this evaluation is to evaluate the mid-term achievements and implementation performance at strengthening Sri Lanka's systems and processes in public accountability and policy reform, and to identify recommendations for course correction to ensure that activity goals and objectives are fully met.

Note: The position is contingent on contract award.

  • Serve on a four-person SGADP evaluation team.
  • Conduct desk review and provide technical contributions to the evaluation team.
  • Schedule and track appointments with organizations and individuals to interview and meet with during evaluation field work.
  • Serve as note taker during meetings with USAID/Nepal and the SGADP Implementing Partner, and during interviews and focus group discussions with project stakeholders and beneficiaries.
  • Arrange meeting rooms, IT equipment and support, supplies, transport, and lodging for the evaluation team throughout the field work of the evaluation.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the Team Lead.

  • A bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience as a program assistant or project coordinator for organizations implementing donor funded development projects.

  • Able to take initiative and work independently on administrative and logistical tasks.

  • Fluent English and Sinhala speaker.

  • Excellent English communication skills.
