UNICEF is seeking the services of a consultant who will produce a four-page edited (with lay-out) Policy Brief and an abridged version of the Situational Analysis of Children with Disabilities in the Philippines report, including their printed copies. In April 2018, UNICEF completed the study on the situation of children with disabilities in the Philippines. To disseminate the results of the study more broadly and as wide as practicable, UNICEF intends to produce a one Policy Brief in popular format and an abridged version of the report to be distributed in various fora and platforms.

Major Tasks

      • Write and Edit a Policy Brief distilling findings, lessons and policy implications from the Situational Analysis on Children with Disabilities Report.
      • Write and Edit an Abridged Version of the Situational Analysis on Children with Disabilities Report.
      • Print Copies in Glossy Papers.

       

       

      Deliverables

       

      • 4-page Edited Policy Brief with Lay-out Printed in Glossy Paper @100 copies (inclusive of one revision based on UNICEF’s comments on first draft).
      • 15-page Abridged Version of the Situational Analysis on Children with Disabilities Report with Lay-out Printed in Glossy Paper @100 copies (inclusive of one revision based on UNICEF’s comments on first draft).

       

       

      Qualifications and Competencies of Successful Candidate

       

      • University Degree in related fields.
      • Demonstrated ability to write policy briefs and communication materials in various platforms.
      • Candidates should provide a portfolio containing examples of their achievements.
      • Lay-out and Printing experience.
