ASSETW seeks to invite job applications for the vacancies listed below for its project with Jharkhand Tribal Development Society (JTDS) in Jharkhand. ASSETW will work in collaboration with JTDS to build upon and contribute towards the overall goal of the Jharkhand Tribal Empowerment and Livelihoods Programme (JTELP) to “improve living conditions of Scheduled Tribes (STs) in general and Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) in particular, covering selected ST majority blocks and Panchayats in all the 14 Tribal Sub-Plan districts of Jharkhand by empowering and enabling the communities to adopt livelihood options based on sustainable and equitable use of natural resources.” Additionally, ASSETW will contribute to fostering community-based institutions to empower village communities, especially women, introduce sustainable natural resource management (NRM) systems to enhance food security and increase incomes by introducing improved farming practices and proven production technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall management of program data and documentation.
- Responsible for development of an MIS System for recording field data related to feed management, vaccination management, pregnancy management, marketing details, etc.
- Coordinate with regional program teams in monitoring and evaluating projects, including quarterly and semi-annual project progress
- Responsible for facilitating baseline and impact monitoring surveys
- Manage and maintain monitoring information system for program monitoring and evaluation.
- Facilitate preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Minimum Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Rural Development, Social Sciences plus three years of experience is required. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Responsible for overall management of program data and documentation.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and MS word
Note:
- Nature of Contract will be Consultancy.
- Term of Contract for one year and renewal after one year after performance evaluation.
- Candidate must have owned Laptop.
- Apart from above Position will be provided Equipment maintenance allowance, communication allowance and Personal Insurance benefit.
