Your team

Traineeship opportunities are offered on a regular basis across the different Directorates and Services of Eurocontrol sites and in a wide variety of ATM and non-ATM related activities.

This competition aims at building up a reserve list of potential candidates who would be approached and offered the opportunity to take part in our internship programme at any time of the year and following our business needs.

Applications are reviewed on a monthly basis by the Human Resources Service.

Your role

PURPOSE OF THE TRAINEESHIP

The Traineeship Programme provides students and recent graduates with a valuable first professional experience and a valuable exposure to the work environment of a fast changing international organisation within a rich multicultural environment.
We offer in-house training and mentoring to give you the opportunity to maximise your learning experience with us.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the continuous support, supervision and coaching of a mentor, you will:

• Become acquainted with and acquire an insight into the working methods of the Agency business areas;

• Put into practice your academic knowledge and acquire relevant new skills and competencies;

• Be introduced to the Organisation's work environment, its opportunities and challenges.

DESIRED DURATION

From 3 to 12 months.

Your profile

You are a student completing your BA or MA's degree or a recent BA or MA graduate in the following disciplines: 

• Engineering (Aeronautical, Aviation, Air Traffic Management, Computer Science, Mathematics,...);

• Information and Communications Technology (Software Development; Data Science, Artificial Intelligence,...)

• Business administration and Law (Air Law, Business law, Labour law, Public international law,...);

• Human Resources and Psychology;

• Economy, Finance and Accounting;

• Communication, Public Relations and Web Design;

• Translation; and 

• Secretarial and Administrative fields.

If you are a recent graduate, your traineeship should start within 12 months of completion of your studies. Otherwise, you will not be considered as eligible for our programme.

The working languages of the Agency are English and French. Therefore, you must have an excellent command of English and/or French. For certain positions, an excellent command of English is required only. Additional language knowledge may be an asset.

Useful information

• Applications will be accepted from nationals of ECAC Member States only.

• This opportunity falls under the Traineeship Programme Regulations.

• A flat-rate allowance of €900 per month as a contribution towards living expenses will be granted.

• Reimbursement of travel expenses to take up appointment and leave may be covered by means of a lump sum.
