The Asia Europe and Latin America region (AELA) for NRC comprises a diverse range of country programmes across a vast geographical area: Ukraine, Iran, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar and a number of countries in South and Central America(largest operation in  Colombia and Venezuela).

In support of the Government of Iran's efforts towards an estimated 3,6 million Afghans residing in country, NRC initiated operations in Iran in 2012 and has substantially scaled up its activities since.  We currently deliver humanitarian assistance in 8 provinces in the sectors of Education, Food Security and livelihoods, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Shelter construction, as well as Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA). We co-lead several technical inter-agency working groups and provide capacity building to humanitarian partners in country.

The ideal candidate will be a strategist and a leader who is able to pilot the organisation towards achieving NRC’s vision while implementing its mission and goals.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience working as a Senior Manager/Country Director in humanitarian/recovery context with Documented/proven results.

Great Management skills.

Good sense of humour is an asset.

Salary and allowance:

According to NRC’s International directions

Duty Station: Teheran. Teheran is a family duty station.
