Job Purpose:

To support the Programme Manager in the timely and effective delivery of the Inclusive Education programme.

Responsibilities:

Programme Delivery: Support the Education Programme Manager to ensure project outcomes are delivered on time and on budget. Coordinate with the VSO Finance and Operations team to manage logistics, administration and finance for programme activities

Volunteer support: Provide international and national volunteers and other stakeholders with necessary skills and resources to effectively implement education activities. Support recruitment, induction/orientation and training activities for new volunteers.

Stakeholder engagement: Build effective working relationships with stakeholders, engaging them at each project stage. Manage information flows between the directing and delivering levels of the project. Anticipate project risks and issues, communicating them to VSO and external stakeholders and taking action to resolve risks.

Financial Management: Assist and support the programme manager to develop plans and budgets, ensuring compliance with donor requirements. Assist and support on developing, maintaining and regularly reviewing financial plans to deliver programme objectives including full participation in the annual budget preparation process.

Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting: Support the Programme Manager and the M&E specialist on M&E activities. Collate and review programme data for analysis and reporting purposes. Maintain databases as and when requested by line manager. Keep records of programme activities and support data collection activities.

Other responsibilities: Fulfil other appropriate level accountabilities as defined by the Programme Manager as required.
