CAMRIS seeks a Gender and Reproductive Health Specialist for the upcoming Mid-term Performance Evaluation of USAID/Mali’s Girls Leadership and Empowerment Through Education (GLEE) Activity. The purpose of this midterm performance evaluation is to assess the progress made by the GLEE Activity toward expected results, determine what mid-term course corrections are needed, and use the findings to inform the design of future projects.

The performance evaluation will gather and analyze data on three objectives:
* The degree to which key barriers faced by adolescent girls to access quality education has decreased.
* Whether the safety of girls in schools and their communities has increased.
* Whether the knowledge and adoption of positive health behaviors of adolescent girls has increased.

Note: This position is contingent on contract award.

* Lead the analysis of the gender integration in GLEE and the behavior change among adolescent girls toward family planning and reproductive health.
* Develop and test key research tools, methods, and procedures.
* Contribute to the drafting and the finalization of the evaluation report.
* Participate in the oral and written presentations of the evaluation’s findings.
* Ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables.
* Graduate degree in health, anthropology, or sociology with strong experience evaluating reproductive health projects.
* Experience in leading and conducting gender analyses.
* Strong expertise in family planning and reproductive health.
* Demonstrated experience in behavior change evaluation.
* At least 7 years of experience in analyzing gender roles in Malian society and how they are developed, reinforced, or changed by family, schooling, the media, recent conflict, or cultural traditions.
* Strong technical competencies in applied qualitative research techniques and data analysis, including significant training in anthropological or ethnographic research.
* Expertise in WASH in school and family planning for adolescent girls.
* Expertise with qualitative data collection instruments (for key informant interviews, focus group discussions).
* Knowledge of Nvivo or Atlas TI or other qualitative software package preferred.
