SCOPE OF WORK: The IRC in San Diego has provided training, technical assistance, and loans to refugee and low-income. The Financial Literacy Program Intern will provide both administrative and direct service support to the program.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Based on intern skills and experience, responsibilities may include a combination of program support, administrative/data support, and direct service.

·Enter data through the IRC’s Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) and Sales Force database

·Assist with intake, support of walk-in clients and collecting follow up information for past clients by meeting with them in person or through phone.

·Help with Developing the Financial Literacy curriculum by researching for new topics as needed.

·Help with facilitating Financial Literacy classes.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

1.Learn information about the refugees community financial needs

2.Learn about the banking and credit system in the US.

3.Learn about the different services provided by IRC.
