  1. Finance and Control Consultants

    DAI is seeking consultants with expertise in accounting, financial management and control particularly in helping grow SMEs. The consultants will support the Activity’s works in corporate governance, business transparency, competitiveness and capacity building of firms in Myanmar. Expertise should be in at least one of the areas below:
    • International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
    • General Ledger Accounting
    • Financial Accounting
    • Managerial Accounting
    • Financial Planning and Forecasting
    • Financial Management and Control
    • Corporate Taxation
    Minimum Qualifications
    • At least a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
    • CPA or ACCA is a must, and CFA qualification is highly desired.
    • Minimum 10 years of working experience in accounting and finance field.
    • Experience in developing and implementing finance and control procedures and processes for Myanmar companies.
    • Experience working with international donor-funded projects.
    • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.

  2. Investment and Transaction Consultants

    DAI is seeking consultants with direct investment and transaction experience to support a variety of private investment related tasks for the Activity, including:
    • Direct investment experience with a private equity/venture capital investment manager, family office or other investment firm
    • Successful track record in middle market sell or buy-side transaction advisory
    • Private capital fundraising
    • Impact investment
    • Private equity/venture capital advisory
    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, finance, business, or other related fields.
    • Experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, corporate finance advisory, innovative/blended finance.
    • Ideally with experience with international donor-funded projects, international finance institutions or development finance institutions is preferred.
    • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.

  3. Corporate Governance Consultants

    DAI is seeking consultants with expertise in corporate governance to support the Activity’s works on promoting corporate governance of firms including SMEs in Myanmar. Expertise should be in at least one of the areas below:
    • Designing, developing, or implementing corporate governance initiatives or guidelines for large companies including listed and public enterprises.
    • Designing, developing, or implementing governance initiatives or guidelines for SMEs.
    • Designing, developing, or delivering corporate governance curriculum and courses targeted for large companies or SMEs.
    Minimum Qualifications
    • At least a Bachelors’ degree in finance, accounting, business, business law or other related fields.
    • At least 5 years of experience working on corporate governance and directorship best practices and/or providing corporate governance advisory services.
    • Expertise in any area of corporate governance including SME corporate governance.
    • Experience working with international donor-funded projects.
    • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.

  4. Aquaculture Consultants

    DAI is seeking consultants with expertise in aquaculture business to support the Activity’s work on promoting trade and investment in this sector. Expertise should be in at least one of the areas below:
    • Market expansion (both domestic and international) for aquaculture businesses
    • Aquaculture sector-specific export/import trade compliance
    • Standards and Certification development for aquaculture sector
    • Product development for aqua-based processed/packaged foods
    Minimum Qualifications
    • At least a bachelors’ degree in aquaculture, agriculture, agribusiness, economics, business or a related field.
    • At least 10 years of experience working in aquaculture sector in Myanmar and/or the region.
    • Working knowledge of the private sector including SMEs, investors, financial lenders, and business advisory services in aquaculture sector in Myanmar.
    • Experience working with international donor-funded projects.
    • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.

  5. Agribusiness Consultants

    DAI is seeking consultants with expertise in agriculture businesses to support the Activity’s work on promoting trade and investment in this sector. Expertise should be in at least one of the areas below:
    • Market expansion (both domestic and international) for agriculture businesses
    • Agriculture sector-specific export/import trade compliance
    • Standards and Certification development for agriculture sector
    • Product development for agri-based processed/packaged foods
    Minimum Qualifications
    • At least a bachelors’ degree in agriculture, agribusiness, economics, business or a related field.
    • At least 10 years of experience working in agriculture sector in Myanmar and/or the region.
