As a non-governmental social development organisation we support children without parental care and families in difficult living conditions through services in care, education, health and emergency relief, and we advocate for the rights of children and young people, in alliance with a great diversity of partners. To support the International Office Region CEE/CIS/Middle East with this important responsibility we are now looking for a committed:

Programme Advisor/Results Based Management and M&E CEE/CIS/Middle East (EUCM) (f/m)

Location Jordan/Amman

Full time, one-year contract with possibility of extension

Responsibilities:

• Support SOS Member Associations in assigned countries of the region (Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria) to implement Results Based Management, Quality Assurance and M&E systems in the alternative care and prevention of family separation programmes. 
• Provide expertise to, build capacity and steer implementation of organizational policies and standards in the area of Quality Assurance, Results Based Management and M&E in Member Associations
• Support and steer implementation of key programme and data management systems
• Consult and support Member Associations in conducting/commissioning external evaluation of programmes
• Monitor implementation of required RBM and QA processes and systems as well as quality of services including through field visits and audits
• Contribute to the development of organisational policies and guidelines

Requirements:

• University degree in social sciences, social work, psychology, or any other relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position involving implementation of Results Based Management (RBM), Monitoring and Evaluation and data management systems in alternative child care and prevention projects
• Experience with data management systems in the area of M&E
• Experience in use of data to inform decision-making, planning, and performance monitoring
• Proven track record of project management and experience in leading roles or ownership of projects/processes
• Experience in conducting training, workshops and other capacity building activities of staff in the area of RBM, M&E and data management systems
• Relevant work experience in iNGOs or international organizations is a plus
• Ability to work independently
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic
• Readiness to travel at least 30% of working time
