6 months, (unpaid trial period of one month can be done remotely, then 5 months with a Stipend of USD 200/ a month)

About The Position:

We are currently seeking a Business Development Intern to work with our Humanitarian department. Our humanitarian department conducts a variety of M&E assignments in Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq, which include third-party monitoring, needs assessments, and baseline/end line evaluations. The intern would work under Investimate’s TPM project manager, fulfilling a number of different tasks including:

  • Identification of ToRs, RFPs, or Requests for Expressions of Interest for future projects
  • Drafting technical proposals that will be submitted as part of the bid for new M&E projects
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of data collection tools and instruments (ie: survey questionnaires, key informant interview discussion guides, etc.)
  • Compiling and organizing raw data transferred from the field and maintaining electronic/paper systems for tracking and reporting information
  • Coordinating with field teams, partners, clients, and donors throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assisting in the supervision of data collection activities
  • Assisting in data analysis and the creation of reports, assessments, and presentations
  • Assisting in social media planning and social media content creation
  • Performing any other related activities as assigned by the immediate supervisor
  • Recruiting new enumerators and technical experts

Necessary Competencies:

  • Ability to work in team-oriented settings as well as independently
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to unforeseen circumstances or situations

Expected Skills and Qualifications:

  • A University degree in International Development, International Relations, Political Science, Data Analysis, Public Administration or any related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Interest in Humanitarian and Development field
  • Past experience in field-based data collection methods, is highly preferred
