In India, Jhpiego works across various states in close collaboration with national and state governments, providing technical assistance in the areas of family planning, maternal and child health, strengthening human resources for health, and non-communicable diseases. These programs are funded by USAID, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, David & Lucile Packard Foundation, Childrenâs Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), MSD for Mothers and others.
Jhpiego is hiring for the position of HR Manager to meet its requirement high volume of positions. The position will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitments for multiple projects and report to the Director-HR & Administration.
Responsibilities:
⢠Draw a recruitment strategy in consultation with Hiring Managers (HM)
⢠Map recruitment status
⢠Work with HM for completing the hiring process
⢠Devise innovative solutions to meet high volume recruitment load under strict timelines
⢠Devise multiple strategies to meet high volume of hiring including but not limited to engaging recruitment firms; managing campus recruitments; outsourcing manpower
⢠Conduct interviews
⢠Develop writing assignments in consultation with the HM
⢠Update recruitment status to management on periodical basis
⢠Negotiate and administer salary offer
⢠On-board new hire by completing documentation and new staff orientation
⢠Compensation and staff benefits management
⢠Manage HRMIS
⢠Supervise recruitment team
⢠Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor
Abilities/Skills:
⢠Orientation to detail and accuracy
⢠Willingness and flexibility to work on a wide range of tasks under strict timelines
⢠Ability to maintain confidentiality
⢠Ability to supervise
⢠Punctuality
⢠Good written and oral communication skills in English
⢠Proficiency in MS Office with special emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
⢠Ability to work in a multicultural work environment
Qualifications:
⢠Masters in HR with 7-10 yearsâ of experience in managing end-to-end recruitment
⢠Experience of managing senior level recruitment independently
⢠Familiarity with the development sector
