Description

SELCO Foundation at its current stage is replicating its health and energy scaling program by way of strengthening health infrastructure in about 10 chosen districts of Meghalaya, Manipur, Odisha, Nagaland and Karnataka. We believe that Energy efficiency drive, powering healthcare with 100% clean and renewable energy and provision of green building infrastructure for healthcare through a COVID and future pandemic preparedness will democratize the much needed health services in the remote villages of selected districts.

The Training Manager will coordinate and implement health infrastructure projects across 10 districts and the main roles and responsibilities are:

Roles and responsibilities:
--Building a complete understanding of the public health delivery system and mapping nodal points of required training to ensure successful implementation and utilisation of health and energy program.
--Developing Capacity Building Plan in coordination with program team on the Health and Energy nexus intervention focusing on the stakeholders like government health department, clean energy enterprises and NGOs
--Co-ordinating with health department and facilitating training on how to use medical equipment in the medical care, Managing Training on the quality checks and proper usage and maintenance of DRE system
--Co-ordinating with Technical and Program department for developing training modules focusing on health and energy nexus work
--Documentation on the impact of trainings by co-ordinating with MEL and Knowledge team.
--Maintain the information of all the people who have undergone training in the form of Database
--Timely submission of all the bills on the expenses related to Training to the accounts department after approval
--Co-ordinating with team to document entire process of the training the form of video and narrative report

Key requirements
- Equivalent experience in planning, developing and executing training programs high scale interventions
- Expertise in energy and/health is preferred
- Proven experience in Govt, multi stakeholder partnership management
- Work experience in community engagement and willingness to travel
