The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Jordan Country Office in Amman seeks a dedicated, highly motivated and proactive candidate to support the Social Protection team as Information Management (Data) Intern for a minimum of three months with possible extension (paid).

How can you make a difference?

- Support UNICEF Makani tablet-distribution project, by closely coordinating with Makani centers in the field and Makani Implementing Partners. This includes following up with all stakeholders, using Tablets Mobile Management Portal, to follow up on tablet distribution per center, status of tablets (online, offline), etc.
- Support in conducting field visits to Makani centers in all governorates to ensure proper implementation of tablet distribution.
- Contribute to the tablet distribution is reflected on an Asset Management System and ensure timely status update on each tablet that was distributed to vulnerable children and adolescents.
- Support in the creation of Tablet Distribution SOPs, and Assets Management SOPs.
- Support in coordinating with field staff in Makani centers and all relevant stakeholders, troubleshoot ,and follow up on requests. The follow ups with stakeholders will be through using the Tablets Mobile Management Portal.
- Support in extracting, cleansing and analyzing data on regular basis.
- Contribute in create surveys (using Kobo, survey123, or XLS) and analyze data using different tools such as PowerBI and else.
- Support in follow-ups related to tablet pre and post distribution, using all communication channels of emails, field visits, meetings, using portals and else.
- Other similar duties as assigned by the supervisor

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
Education: Be enrolled in an undergraduate, PHD or graduate degree programme, or have graduated within the past two years, preferably in the field of Human Rights, Public Policy, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Political Science, Economics, International Relations or other related fields.
Experience and Skills:
- Strong research, writing, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to write complex reports, editing skills and demonstrated experience in drafting reports and proposals.
- Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university records.
- Previous work experience in the humanitarian or development sector considered an asset.
- Strong demonstrated skills in research (quantitative and qualitative) and data analysis
- Have proper knowledge of databases and data collection & analysis tools, such as SQL, access, Kobo, survey123,
- Demonstrated capacity in providing support to planning and implementation of activities, including coordination and event management skills.
- Experience in data collection and analysis software (STATA/ NVivo) is considered an asset.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
