Mission
This position will be responsible for implementation of PSHEA (Prevention and Protection against Sexual Harassment, Exploitation and Abuse) regulation including awareness and prevention measures with a focus on gender equality and diversity by setting up reporting and responding processes at regional (IOR) & member association (MA) level, aligned to the local context and resources. The incumbent will work in Regional Human Resources Department with “safeguarding and Integrity” team doing risk assessments, audits and implementing PSHEA. The incumbent will report to ‘Director HR&OD- Asia.


Location: International Office Region-Asia, Faridabad, India


Duration: Fixed term employment (Annual renewable contract till Dec 31, 2024)

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the implementation of PSHEA regulation and strengthen it at regional office and Asian member associations.
• Be a member of the regional “Safeguarding and Integrity” team and take a lead role in the following areas supported by other members of the “Safeguarding and Integrity” team:
    o PSHEA risk assessment;
    o Implement PSHEA action plan in region
    o Train staff on PSHEA at IOR;
    o Attend trainings to improve safeguarding knowledge and skills;
• Support member associations in their capacity building and knowledge on PSHEA regulation and guidelines.
• Develop PSHEA incidences reporting channels in regional office and support member association to do so.
• Support supervisor to commission PSHEA and Code of Conduct initial assessment and investigations.
• Act as a PSHEA focal point for content development at the same time ensuring that regional and MA perspectives are taken into consideration.
• Review PSHEA material provided by International Office (IO) and ensuring its adaptation & integration in local (regional office and Asian member associations) context.
• Rollout and actively participate in PSHEA awareness raising sessions / programmes for different stakeholders.
• Support supervisor to align HR policies and processes (such as recruitment) with PSHEA requirements.
• Support on content development of National PSHEA policy/ guidelines to foster safeguarding environment.
• Support in promoting awareness and sensitization in gender equitable work place
• Support Gender Equitable practices in the region, as assigned.


Requirements

Qualification & Experience:
• Minimum required qualification is post-graduation in Human Resources or relevant subject.
• Should have experience of 8 years in Human resources or more with at least 3 years hands on experience in the area of Prevention & Protection of Sexual Harassment.
• Work experience and knowledge on POSH Act’ and Gender Equality will be an added advantage.
• Work experience in ‘Not for Profit’ sector will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Ability to manage data in an effective and efficient manner.
