The intern will assist the Nutrition Cluster for having accurate, relevant and timely information for coordination, access, emergency response management in coordination with other clusters and subnational coordination (RENCU).

How can you make a difference?

Under the supervision of Nutrition cluster coordinator, the intern will work with the database assistant and undertake the following tasks:

  • Prepare dashboards with assessment or monitoring results developed partners as required
  • Prepare monthly progress reports, bulletins and synopsis
  • Coordinate information management products with other partners in the cluster and with IMO in sub national coordination units
  • Maintain up-to-date databases necessary for permanent monitoring of the response.
  • Attend to the statistics of the cluster and support the management of efficient products.
  • Guarantee the delivery of the validated information (with partners) in accordance with the established schedule.

 

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • Be enrolled at a university in Ethiopia at the undergraduate or graduate level or be a recent graduate (within the past two years) in MPH, Health-nutrition statistics/epidemiology, ICT, social and economic sciences or related field is required.
  • Knowledge of relevant computer systems and applications; excellent knowledge of MS Office is required.
  • Good interpersonal, networking and communication skills.
  • Willingness to contribute and work as part of a team.
  • Flexible and open to learning and new experiences.
  • Respect for diversity and adaptability to other cultures and working environments.
  • Fluency in English is required.
