NRC is looking for influential, interpersonal, and strategic leader, with extensive negotiation and problem-solving skills, to join the team in Myanmar as the INGO Forum Director. If you are someone who enjoys advocating and engaging with high level actors, facilitating information sharing, and influencing advocacy and coordination, then this is the role for you!

 

What You Will Do

  • INGO Forum Strategy development, implementation, and periodic review.
  • Joint advocacy initiatives.
  • Member engagement promotion, ensuring the Forum meets the diverse members’ priority needs.
  • Financial resource management, including overseeing proposals, budgets, and reports.
  • Policy analysis on key issues affecting INGOs in Myanmar.
  • Risk mitigation measures.
  • Stakeholder relations.
  • Information sharing facilitation.

 

What You Will Bring

  • Senior management experience in a humanitarian/ recovery context.
  • INGO management experience.
  • Policy change influence track record.
  • Advocating and engaging with high level actors experience.
  • Inter-agency coordination familiarity.
  • Global humanitarian and development coordination infrastructure and systems familiarity.
  • Donor and diplomatic missions representational and diplomatic experience.
  • Multiple donor grants/contracts involvement.
  • Resource mobilization strategies development and implementation.
